Meanwhile, Duncanville has made a strong claim as the top team in Texas, finishing their regular season with a stellar 10-0 record, scoring an impressive average of 44 points per game. With standout players like quarterback Keelon Russell and wide receiver Dakorien Moore, the Panthers have been a formidable presence, overpowering teams like St. Frances Academy.
Bishop Gorman, another powerhouse from Nevada, has had a strong season despite an early loss to Mater Dei. The Gaels have consistently dominated their competitors, boasting notable victories over St. Thomas Aquinas and Orange Lutheran. They are eyeing their fourth consecutive 5A state title, with two games standing between them and the top.
In Texas, North Crowley has emerged as another strong contender, finishing with a perfect record of 12-0. The Panthers made a statement early in the season with a big win over DeSoto, and they continue to impress with high-scoring games. North Shore has also drawn attention, known for its top-notch defense that has kept opposing teams to less than 11 points per game.
Other notable mentions include Buford, which has a strong defensive presence and an undefeated record, as well as Archbishop Spalding, celebrating a perfect season after clinching the Class A state title.
