Pittsburgh, PA – High school football in Pennsylvania is heating up as elite teams continue their strong performances, marking a second consecutive week of impressive victories. Last week, teams ranked in the Trib HSSN standings posted a remarkable combined record of 29 wins and just 1 loss, with the sole defeat occurring between top-ranked teams in District 12. Class 6A’s No. 1 LaSalle College took down 4A’s top-ranked Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast by a score of 35-13.

These standout teams are not just winning, but they are dominating their opponents. The aggregate score for the winning ranked teams last week was a staggering 1,368 to 249, which breaks down to an average score of 47 to 8. Despite last week’s loss, Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast remains the top team in 4A. The other top-ranked teams have held their ground: Bishop McDevitt in 5A, Northwestern Lehigh in 3A, Troy in 2A, and Bishop Guilfoyle in A remain unchanged.
