Central Ohio High School Football Kicks Off 2024 Season
Central Ohio saw a thrilling start to the 2024 high school football season as teams from Delaware to Lancaster, and Hilliard to Pickerington hit the field for their first games on Friday night. Among the highlights was the match-up between the three-time defending Division I state champion Lakewood St. Edward and Pickerington North, where St. Edward continued their dominance with a convincing victory of 28-0.
Another notable game was at the newly inaugurated stadium of Pickerington Central, where they faced off against Harvest Prep. It was a closely contested game, with Harvest Prep taking the win in a nail-biting 24-21 finish.
Hilliard Bradley, last season’s regional champion, also made an impactful entrance to the season with an impressive 28-7 victory over Groveport Madison.

- Anthony Wayne dominating Hilliard Darby with a score of 35-13
- Lake Catholic securing a strong 14-0 win against Cardinal Mooney
- Grove City Christian, finishing strong with a decisive 42-0 victory against Miami Valley Christian
