Meet the Inductees

Terry Mathews – Class of 2000

Starting as a junior, Terry Mathews joined the track and field team and quickly made his mark as a fierce competitor in the 400 meters. He won district races and even qualified for the state competition in Division III. Not only was he fast on the track, but he also played as a guard on the basketball team. Today, Terry spends his time in education, where he proudly serves as the dean of students at Dayton’s Leadership Academy.

Alexandra “Alex” Bohler – Class of 2001

Meet Alex, who shined brightly during her four years of varsity coed soccer and three years of lettering in softball. As a senior, she not only pitched the majority of games but also led her team to a 13-0 league record! Furthermore, she achieved a remarkable .589 batting average and was the school’s valedictorian. After attending Cornell University, Alex is now sharing her innovative mind as an assistant professor at Sinclair Community College.

Reed Domer-Shank – Class of 2001

As the all-time leading scorer in boys soccer at Stivers, Reed Domer-Shank left a legacy that few can match. With his impressive dual talents, he was the two-time team MVP and showcased his skills on the baseball field as well, batting .421 his senior year. A graduate of Wooster, Reed further honed his education at Penn and is now making strides in healthcare administration as the regional vice president for the Philadelphia Department of Prisons.

Erin Fuller – Class of 2002

Erin Fuller was named the city league player of the year in volleyball during her senior year, but her talents didn’t stop there! A bright valedictorian who also played the trombone in jazz band, her versatility is commendable. Erin studied political science at Dayton and later obtained a master’s in public administration. Currently, she is leading the charge as the president and CEO of Miami Valley Community Action.

Ralph Davis Jr. – Class of 2004

Ralph Davis Jr. demonstrated dedication by running track and cross country for four years and even playing varsity basketball. Now, he joins siblings Nate and Morgan as part of the hall of fame. Graduating from Wright State University, Ralph is committed to community service as the coordinator of a wellness initiative for students at the Omega Community Development Corporation.

Jacob Carey – Class of 2006

Jacob was a force in both soccer and tennis. In his senior year, he led the area with 40 goals in soccer and earned first-team all-league honors. He also made a splash in tennis, receiving honorable mentions. Jacob went on to Urbana University, where he continued his soccer career on a partial scholarship.

Brian Hicks – Class of 2007

Brian Hicks helped put the Tigers back on the map by leading the team to its first winning baseball season in over six years. With impressive career pitching stats, Brian has made a name for himself and now works at a local machine shop.

Tracy McGuire – Class of 2008

A skilled guard, Tracy averaged 17.2 points per game throughout his career. His basketball journey took him through several colleges, culminating at Allen University in South Carolina. Tracy now teaches physical education and shares his passion for the sport by coaching basketball at The Christian Academy in South Carolina.

Felix Turner – A Coach with a Legacy

Coach Felix Turner joined Stivers as the boys basketball coach in 2015 and has already made waves. With a history of success at Meadowdale High School that included two City League titles, Felix’s current team made headlines by winning the City League championship for the first time since 1952! His achievements have earned him honors as the Dayton City League Coach of the Year, cementing his legacy in the community.
