First up is Alston, who was on fire in Jay’s thrilling 14-7 victory against their rivals. He went an impressive 4-for-4 with six RBIs to his name, including two triples and a home run! He didn’t just shine at the plate; Alston was also a force on the mound against Southside, pitching seven innings and allowing only three runs while striking out seven batters.
Another player to watch is Atkins, who nailed a go-ahead two-run homer leading Santa Fe to an 8-7 nail-biter victory over Friendswood, finishing the game 2-for-3 with two RBIs. And then there’s Bechler, who threw a complete-game shutout for Clear Creek, allowing just five hits while striking out ten batters in a 2-0 win against Brazoswood.

Let’s not forget Layhew who clinched a dramatic walk-off win by going 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, and three RBIs against Houston Christian. Ubanda from Socorro batted an incredible .778 with seven hits, including two home runs and five RBIs! Talk about offensive power!

Valverde was in top form throwing a no-hitter against Miller and striking out twelve batters over five innings in an 18-0 victory. Molinar showed his stuff with two homers and batted .714 while driving in five RBIs in a tense 10-8 win against Midland Christian.
