Standout Performers

Boy did they bring their A-game! Ladarien Baker stole the spotlight by winning the boys triple jump with an astonishing leap of 13.62 meters (that’s roughly 44 feet, 8.25 inches for those who prefer feet). Not only did he win, but he also set a new personal record! It seems like Ladarien was really flying out there, showing everyone what he’s made of!

We can’t forget about Jezrahiah McCoy, who sprinted his way to victory in the 400-meter hurdles. He crossed the finish line with a jaw-dropping time of 1 minute, 0.04 seconds, and like Baker, he too set a personal best at this meet. These two athletes are definitely ones to watch as they advance!

The girls weren’t to be outdone, either! Peyton Cerasi put on a stunning show in the 1,600 meters, finishing second with a time of 5:15.14. Jeffrey Powell made his mark in the boys 100 meters, sprinting his way to a personal record time of 10.98 seconds, landing him in second place.
