The stage was set at the beautiful Birkelbach Field in Georgetown for the Class 6A Division II final. Our spirited Mesquite team went head-to-head against the formidable Vandegrift, a match that many will remember for a long time. Unfortunately, while they gave it their all, Mesquite ended up on the losing side, with a final score of 3-1.

The excitement was palpable as the whistle blew, but it didn’t take long for Vandegrift to take control.
