Leading the pack is a pitcher who is giving everyone a reason to take notice. With a jaw-dropping total of 90 strikeouts over just 43 innings, he’s really setting the bar high. Not only can he dominate on the mound, but this Modesto Christian player is also batting a solid .400 with 24 hits, 15 RBIs, and six doubles. Unfortunately, his team is struggling a bit with a record of 4-17, but there’s no denying his impressive personal performance!

Another standout is making a name for himself as the State leader in RBIs with an astonishing 30 RBIs in just 16 games. His batting average of .552 and 32 hits includes seven doubles, five triples, and even two home runs! On the mound, he’s also shined brightly with a 3-1 record, a 2.13 ERA, and a total of 36 strikeouts across 26 1/3 innings. Looks like this kid is a true dual threat!

Let’s talk speed! Soriano is racking up the runs, having crossed home plate 26 times in just 15 games, while stealing a jaw-dropping 34 bases—he’s ranked second statewide among freshmen. The current leader in stolen bases is Acevedo, who’s zipped around the bases for an astounding 37 stolen bases. Not only that, but this talented player is batting .548 with 17 hits, 11 RBIs, and 25 runs scored in only 10 games.

Witcher is also making headlines with five home runs, leading all California freshmen in that category, plus contributing 11 RBIs with a respectable batting average of .360. Gonzalez is keeping his own with a solid .328 batting average, hitting 19 times with 12 RBIs, four doubles, and two home runs, all while competing in the challenging Foothill League.
