Sophia Arnold, also from Green River, took home third in both shot put and discus with throws measuring 32 feet 9.25 inches and 105 feet 4 inches, respectively.

On the boys’ side, Rock Springs senior Dalton Marincic sprinted his way to victory in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 11.52 seconds and 23.66 seconds respectively. Junior teammate Sergio Sisneros finished just behind him in the 200-meter dash, rounding out a strong performance.

The Rock Springs girls’ team clinched first place with a stellar total of 188 points, narrowly edging out Lander Valley High School, which scored 176.5 points. Green River’s girls finished in third with 130.5 points, followed by Lyman High School at 85 points.

The boys’ competition saw Rock Springs again leading the pack with an impressive 241 points. Lander Valley secured second place with 205 points, while Green River’s boys walked away in third with a valiant effort, achieving 81 points. Lyman rounded out the boys’ results at 74 points.
