In Arizona, the Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational showcased top-tier athleticism. One of the biggest stars of the day was Symond Martin from Page High School. This junior athlete delivered an exceptional performance, winning the 3,200 meters with a breathtaking time of 9:00.33. Not just stopping there, he set a new season lead in the mile as well, clocking in at 4:14.42, making waves across the state.

If you thought that was it, think again! Bellemy Amina-Harris from Goodyear Desert Edge stole the spotlight by conquering both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. He recorded impressive times of 13.91 and 37.37 respectively, making this debut performance a state-leading one.

But he wasn’t the only standout; Nadia Jackson also secured a state qualification in high jump by clearing 4 feet, 10 inches and took home first place in the girls’ 200 meters with a time of 27.72 seconds.

And let’s not forget about junior Tanner Linkous, who recorded a personal best of 1:58 in the 800 meters and finished fourth in the 100 meters at 11.96 seconds.
