The action kicked off with the highly anticipated girls 1600 meter race. Dashing her way to victory was Taylor Wood from Duluth East, who left everyone in awe with her time of 5:32.77. Not too far behind was Elena Almonte from Superior, crossing the finish line in a commendable 5:38.66 to secure 2nd place.
