This year’s championship saw some truly exhilarating performances, none more impressive than that of Finn Moser. The talented freshman made headlines by breaking the standing record in the 500 freestyle with an astonishing time of 4 minutes and 50.60 seconds. This remarkable feat overshadowed the previous record of 4:57.94, which had been held since 2005 by Lief Rasmussen.
