This year, the Ken Erny Soccer Award shines a spotlight on outstanding soccer players who exemplify excellence in the sport as well as show remarkable leadership on their teams. The nominees include some talented male and female athletes. For the male nominees, we have:

- Asa Dean representing Grand Haven
- Cole DeJonge from Western Michigan Christian
- Trevor Trevino from Montague
- Tekalegn Vlasma, also from Western Michigan Christian
