Free “Try Lacrosse” Event on March 2

If you’re looking to dip your toes into the exciting world of lacrosse, don’t miss the “Try Lacrosse” event happening on Sunday, March 2, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. This event is your chance to experience the sport firsthand at Overlook Park in White Rock. Bring your family and friends along for a fun-filled day that features games and a raffle with fabulous prizes!

Why Lacrosse?

The local lacrosse program is designed to do more than just teach the game; it aims to foster athleticism, build confidence, and create lifelong friendships. Teams for Everyone

This year, there are three youth teams open for registration:

  • 10 U: Co-ed
  • 12 U: Co-ed
  • 14 U: Boys

And it doesn’t stop there! If you’re a bit older, there are additional teams available:

  • JV Girls: 7th grade – 12th grade
  • High School Boys: 9th – 12th grade

No prior experience is necessary to join these teams; all you need is a love for learning and, of course, playing lacrosse!

Middle School Pre-Season Clinics

Middle School Pre-Season Clinics at Devon Prep, running in partnership with the Devon Lacrosse Association. These clinics will take place from February 22nd to March 22nd, Saturday mornings from 7:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.. It’s a terrific opportunity for boys in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to hone their skills!

The clinics focus on both offensive and defensive core skills that are applicable to all positions, giving young athletes the tools they need to succeed. Note that participant numbers are limited to just 30 to maximize instruction quality. Here are the costs:

  • Offensive Clinic: $175
  • Defensive Clinic: $175
  • Complete Preparation Clinic: $300
