Denver Broncos Eye Exciting Talents in Upcoming NFL Draft

Denver is buzzing as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches, and the Broncos are considering some intriguing options. According to a recent mock draft, two standout players could be available for Denver with the 20th overall pick: Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

Football analyst Daniel Jeremiah believes that the Broncos should seriously think about Loveland, who had an impressive final season at Michigan, catching 56 passes for 582 yards and scoring five touchdowns. Jeremiah ranks Loveland as his seventh-overall player, highlighting his potential to be a significant contributor. He described Loveland as a potential “elite talent” and even compared him to Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta.

On the other hand, Jeanty, who was the 2024 Heisman runner-up, is also a top prospect, posting nearly 3,000 all-purpose yards and scoring 29 rushing touchdowns in his senior season. Jeremiah regards him as his third-overall player and likened his skills to those of Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson.

Jeremiah hinted that having both players available at #20 would create a tough decision for the Broncos. He emphasized the importance of adding a young, dynamic player that could grow with the team. “I think with both Jeanty and Loveland, the Broncos can’t go wrong with either selection,” he stated. Coach Sean Payton prefers having versatile players he refers to as “Jokers,” and Loveland fits this mold perfectly.

As the Broncos prepare for the draft, fans are excited about the prospect of adding high-caliber talent to their roster. With the potential to boost the team’s offense significantly, the next few weeks will be crucial in shaping Denver’s immediate future in professional football.
