In Indianapolis, excitement is building as the NCAA prepares for its March Madness Men’s Bracket Preview, set to take place this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. With just over four weeks remaining until Selection Sunday, fans will get a glimpse of the top 16 teams that are strong contenders for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Joining the conversation will be NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee Chair Bubba Cunningham, along with CBS sports analysts Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright, and Seth Davis. The show will be hosted by Adam Zucker, who will help break down the current standings as the regular season enters its final stretch.
One of the key highlights of the preview is expected to be the representation of the SEC, which appears to have a big presence in the tournament this year. As of now, five of the top eight seeds in the latest Bracketology from analyst Jerry Palm come from the Southeastern Conference, showing the league’s strength this season.
Viewers can expect that this bracket preview, which has been running since 2017, often serves as an indicator of the actual field. According to the NCAA’s data, 84% of the teams featured in the preview have remained among the top four seeds when the final bracket is shaped.
Following the 30-minute preview, there will be continued coverage at 1 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network, where Jerry Palm will offer further insights on his projected field of 68. This segment will also coincide with a matchup between No. 7 Purdue and No. 16 Wisconsin, making for an exciting day of college basketball.
