Hutto Names New Football Coach

Hutto, Texas has officially hired North Crowley’s offensive coordinator as its new football coach, according to a school announcement made on Tuesday. The coach, Reinhart, 31 years old, has spent the last three years leading the North Crowley Panthers to impressive heights.

During his tenure, Reinhart’s offense achieved a remarkable 50-21 victory over Westlake in the Class 6A Division I state championship game last December, finishing with a perfect record of 16-0 for the season. The Panthers had an incredible scoring average of 54 points per game last fall, showcasing a powerful offensive presence.

Before joining North Crowley, Reinhart already had some familiarity with the Austin area, having served as the offensive coordinator at Anderson in 2021. His efforts at that school helped the team score at least 38 points in five games while averaging 33.9 points throughout the entire season.

Overall, Reinhart’s tenure at North Crowley resulted in a record of 42-2, including a 14-1 season in 2023 where the team reached the semifinals but lost to the eventual state runner-up, Duncanville.

Hutto’s athletic director, Will Compton, who was also the previous football coach at the school, expressed enthusiasm about the new hire. “Reinhart is an innovative offensive mind from a coaching family with a track record of success,” he stated. Compton believes Reinhart’s passion for inspiring excellence on the field and in academics will foster a winning culture throughout Hippo Nation.

Before his position at Anderson, Reinhart spent four years in college football as an offensive analyst and assistant wide receivers coach at Central Michigan. He began his coaching career in 2013 as an assistant at Montrose High School, where his father has served as the head coach since 1994.
