MOBILE, Ala. — The excitement is palpable as the Reese’s Senior Bowl practices kick off on Tuesday, pulling in over 100 prospects hoping to impress NFL teams ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. These sessions are like job interviews, and players are putting their best foot forward to showcase their skills. Practices continue through Wednesday and Thursday, with live coverage available on NFL Network and NFL+. Then, on Saturday, the main event—the Senior Bowl game—takes place at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Among the standout players from Day 1 was tight end Elijah Arroyo. After facing a tough knee injury that limited his appearances over the past two seasons, Arroyo appeared sharp in drills. His speed and fluidity were evident, as he consistently created separation while running routes. Despite having a modest record in previous seasons, Arroyo’s performance caught the attention of seasoned evaluators, earning him a place among the top 50 prospects for the upcoming draft.
Another notable performer was Kayshon Bech, a wide receiver who also made waves during the practice session. Measuring in at just over 6-foot-1, Bech showcased his excellent catching ability, along with impressive blocking skills. His performance aligns with the high expectations set for him, having previously stood out in college. He will still undergo a 40-yard dash in the spring, which should clarify his potential further.
Defensive tackle Maason Nolen was hard to miss, dominating the one-on-one matchups and maintaining his position as a top-rated d-lineman. His explosive movements off the snap allowed him to move around blockers easily, proving once again why teams are excited about him going into the draft.
Players like Willie Lampkin are stirring interest as well. At 5-foot-10 and 270 pounds, he is a rare find for an offensive lineman. Lampkin is working diligently at center, showing determination against bigger opponents, which could earn him a chance at the next level.
The practices also featured notable injuries, such as Shemar Turner from Texas A&M, who withdrew due to a stress fracture. Despite the setback, he’s expected to participate in interviews at the NFL Scouting Combine later this month.
