San Antonio, Texas – The 2025 Navy All-American Bowl took place on Saturday and showcased the talents of high school football stars. This game marked a shift in the format of national postseason high school football all-star games, with a standout performance leading the way.

The spotlight was on Keisean Henderson, a quarterback from Legacy the School of Sports Sciences. Henderson, who is set to graduate in 2026, was named the game’s Most Valuable Player after he guided the West All-Stars to a narrow 13-7 victory over the East All-Stars. The event was held at the Alamodome, a fitting venue for such a significant showcase of talent.

Henderson set the tone for the game by connecting on a stunning 91-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Cooper, another talent who is signed to play for SMU and hails from Cibolo Steele in Texas. This score got the West team off to a strong start early in the contest.

The East team made a comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. Ty Hawkins, a player from IMG Academy in Florida, who is also signed with SMU, threw a touchdown pass to Jamie Ffrench Jr. from Mandarin, Florida. This brought the East team within striking distance, making the score 10-7 at that point. However, the West All-Stars managed to hold onto their lead and secure the win.

Across the game, there were also eight players who took the opportunity to announce their future college commitments, showcasing the exciting paths ahead for these young athletes.
