Nike Next Ones 2025 Announces Top High School Football Players
New Orleans, LA – Excitement is building as the NFL and Nike gear up for the Nike Next Ones 2025, an elite invitational featuring some of the most promising high school football talent in the country. Each NFL team has nominated a standout player to participate in this one-day combine, which takes place during Super Bowl Week. This initiative highlights the ongoing partnership between Nike and the NFL, recently extended through 2038.
The Nike Next Ones program focuses on supporting grassroots and high school football development, encouraging young athletes to reach their potential. Numerous athletes have already been confirmed to take part in this exclusive showcase, with more announcements expected soon.
Among the players selected is Jonas Williams, a quarterback from Lincoln-Way East, who will represent the Chicago Bears. Williams led his team to an impressive 11-1 season, earning a spot as Illinois’ fourth-best team in the On3 Composite Rankings before their semifinal loss to Loyola Academy.
The Cleveland Browns have tapped Elbert Hill IV, a defensive back from Archbishop Hoban. Hill’s teammates, wide receiver James Proche and cornerback Tony Brown, surprised him with the news. He helped his team secure a 12-3 record this season and claim the Ohio high school football Region 5 championship.
Another standout is Davian Groce from Lone Star High School, selected by the Dallas Cowboys. Groce expressed gratitude when he received a framed jersey, recognizing his role in helping his team achieve a 12-2 record and reach the Class 5A Division 1 state quarterfinals.
The Houston Texans have chosen Keisean Henderson, a quarterback from Legacy School of Sports Sciences. Henderson, who is committed to the University of Houston, guided his team to a 7-4 season and is currently ranked as the 18th best prospect nationally.
International representation comes from Joel Queisser, a linebacker and defensive end from the NFL Academy. He is the only international athlete joining the 33-member class.
