Bluffton, S.C. – As the high school football season winds down, the recruiting world is heating up. One major high school football recruit, Carnell Warren, a standout wide receiver at Bluffton High, has decided to make a big announcement. The anticipation is building as he is set to reveal his college commitment live during the Under Armour Next All-America Game on Thursday, which can be watched at 4 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
Warren, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound player, is recognized as one of the top wide receivers in the Class of 2026 and holds a ranking of No. 203 on the ESPN Jr. Top 300. He is regarded as a 4-star recruit by ESPN and has similar ratings on other recruiting platforms like 247Sports. His college choices seem to narrow down to Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Duke, or Virginia Tech, with Virginia Tech appearing to be the frontrunner.
Earlier in the season, Warren showcased his talent by catching 53 passes for 800 yards and scoring 14 touchdowns. He gained national attention for an impressive touchdown catch over two defenders, earning him the NFL’s “Way to Play” Catch of the Week for Week 12 on November 29. This performance not only highlighted his skill but also secured a $3,000 equipment grant for Bluffton High School from USA Football through the NFL Foundation.
