The sports scene in Central Massachusetts is buzzing with excitement as the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association has unveiled its list of All-State all-stars. This announcement, made by area coaches, recognizes standout athletes from local high schools. A special dinner to honor these players is set to take place on Sunday, March 9 at the Marriott in Burlington, co-sponsored by the Gridiron Club of New England and the MHSFCA.
Among the top performers is quarterback Jake Attaway from Hudson, who made waves with his impressive gameplay this season. Another quarterback, Osiris Lopez from Leominster, also received recognition for his skills on the field. The wide receivers are just as noteworthy, with Merrick Barlow from St. John’s Prep, Kaelan Chudzinski from St. Sebastian’s, and Lawson Foley from Scituate all earning spots on the All-State team. The offensive line is anchored by athletes like Thomas Brown from Chelmsford and Naheem Ridore from Weymouth, while the defensive line features the talents of Micah Amedee from Xaverian and Logan Dennett from Wachusett.
The linebacker group is packed with talent as well, including Aiden Astorino from King Philip and Ryan Bannon from North Attleboro. Additionally, the defensive backs, such as A.J. Azuakolam from Buckingham Browne and Nichols and Jared Bernabei from Lynnfield, round out the all-star roster.
