In Bucks County, the excitement surrounding high school football has reached a peak with the announcement of the region’s top players for the 2024 season. This year’s all-star team celebrates standout athletes from Bucks and Montgomery counties, showcasing the best of the best on the field.

At quarterback, Gavin Sidwar, a junior from La Salle High, shattered records by throwing for an impressive 2,747 yards and a whopping 31 touchdowns. He completed 69 percent of his passes, marking a phenomenal season. Running backs Raymond Holman from Morrisville and Ryan Clemens from Central Bucks West also had remarkable performances, amassing 1,893 yards with 19 touchdowns and 1,713 yards with 15 touchdowns, respectively.

The offensive line featured standout players like Jimmy Baker from Upper Moreland and junior Grayson McKeough from La Salle, both recognized for their contributions on both sides of the ball. On the receiving end, Aiden Burgy of Quakertown set new school records while Joey O’Brien from La Salle and Hunter Smeltz from Souderton also made significant impacts.

Defensively, Walker Murray from Pennsbury topped the charts with a remarkable 120 tackles. Eddie Bowen from Central Bucks South earned the title of Defensive Player of the Year for his 75 tackles and 12 sacks. On special teams, Ryan Bocklet of North Penn converted the majority of his field goals and was consistent with extra points.

Finally, Brett Gordon from La Salle was named the Coach of the Year, a fitting recognition for his work with the successful team this season.

As this season draws to a close, the achievements of these talented young athletes will be remembered in Bucks County history.
