Maple Grove Crimson Maintain Dominance as High School Football Season Approaches Playoffs

Maple Grove, Minnesota – The Maple Grove Crimson have proven they deserve their status as the top team in high school football this season. With one game left to play in their regular season, the Crimson showcase an unblemished record of 7-0, and their dominance has been evident over the past month. During the last four weeks, the Crimson have outscored their challengers 192 to 35, solidifying their top ranking in Class 6A.

Despite the absence of standout running back Charles Langama, who has been sidelined since a strong 35-0 victory against Blaine on September 27, the team has continued to perform impressively. In their most recent game, Maple Grove decisively defeated St. Michael-Albertville 56-7, showcasing their deep roster and resilience as they head into the final stretch of the regular season.

As the football action heats up in Minnesota, another thrilling matchup highlighted the state’s competitiveness. Moorhead, ranked fifth, secured a nail-biting 36-34 win over Alexandria in a game billed as the “game of the year” in Class 5A.
