High School Football Season Heats Up in New Jersey

This weekend features a packed schedule as nearly all of the state’s top 25 teams take to the field from Thursday to Saturday. These teams were ranked using the On3 Massey Ratings, which analyze game performances, opponent strength, and victory margins. The action kicks off on Thursday night with a matchup featuring #24 Passaic County Technical Institute against Eastside. As Friday rolls in, fans can look forward to several exciting games, including #3 DePaul Catholic battling with Cardinal Hayes from New York, as well as other strong teams like Don Bosco Prep, Millville, and St. Augustine Prep.

On Saturday, the top-ranked team, #1 Bergen Catholic, will be squaring off against Iona Preparatory School, while #2 St Joseph Regional will take on Archbishop Stepinac from New York. Also in action will be teams like the #5 Hun School and #10 Seton Hall Prep.
