Byron Nelson’s Dramatic Comeback Against Lewisville

In Fort Worth, excitement filled the air at Northwest ISD Stadium on Thursday night as the Byron Nelson Bobcats pulled off an incredible comeback against the Lewisville Farmers, winning 32-28. Senior quarterback Grant Bizjack showed impressive skill and poise, connecting on two key touchdown passes to Leo Almanza, who has committed to Baylor, in the game’s final three minutes.

The Bobcats found themselves trailing by four points with just 54 seconds left on the clock. Facing a crucial 4th and 6, Bizjack took the snap under pressure. He executed a brilliant fake on two handoffs and then turned around to launch a remarkable 54-yard pass that soared over the defense. This impressive play set up a short eight-yard touchdown pass as Bizjack rolled out of the pocket to find Almanza.
