Strong Performances Highlight North Coast Section High School Football

This week, the excitement of high school football was palpable in the North Coast Section as some of the top teams challenged themselves with tough out-of-section opponents. Notably, De La Salle and Pittsburg, ranked first and second respectively, both racked up impressive victories against strong squads from the Sac-Joaquin Section, winning by almost identical scores of 42-14 and 42-13.

Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley, the third-ranked team, faced a fierce challenge against St. Ignatius from the Central Coast Section. They managed to secure a solid win with a scoreline of 28-10. This week truly showcased the skill and resilience of the top 15 teams in the section, with most teams coming out on top.

In terms of rankings, only Amador Valley dropped out of the top 15 after their recent loss. They were replaced by Las Lomas, who impressed everyone with a strong victory over Vintage.
